A proposal in Crete!

Congratulations to the fabulous Elle and Owen as Elle says yes to a classic round brilliant cut engagement ring on their gorgeous holiday in Crete!
The lovely couple first met at the beginning of 2023, which they both said 'From that moment we knew each other were the one. Love at first sight actually exists!'.
Tell us about your proposal! Where was it and how did you feel?
The proposal was so wholesome to us both and even more special just being me and Owen. We were on holiday in Crete and stayed in a gorgeous luxury resort called Stella Island. We had a swim up room which was unreal! I had no idea that Owen was going to pop the question as he kept it so quiet. However, over the first two days I knew something was bothering him as he was a lot quieter than usual. Owen says he was very nervous but just wanted everything to go to plan and obviously to say yes, which I didn't even have to think about.
One evening after our meal we took drinks back to our room and this were Owen popped the question. It was just me and him. I was so not expecting it and was the most amazing surprise and made our holiday even more special and Owen could finally enjoy once I had said 'YES'

Elle, tell us about your ring! Did Owen choose well?
I absolutely adore the ring! I have always wanted a Wongs ring and the fact that he took this on board and picked it himself made it even more special. Owen was worried as the ring isn't like the ones I had previously talked about but I would much rather have the one I have. You definitely can't go wrong with a round cut diamond.
How did you feel when coming into Wongs for the aftercare of your gorgeous ring?
The aftercare at Wongs was amazing and we were made to feel so special. Charlie went above and beyond for us both and helped Owen from the start of the process to sort the most perfect ring for me. The Bridal box I received at my fitting appointment from Wongs is also so lovely and makes everything feel more real!
