David popped the question to Lauren at Taylor Swift's Era's tour concert in Liverpool!

Firstly, we’ll take it back to the beginning… How and when did you first meet?
We actually met on Bumble! We spoke for about 6 weeks then met back in December 2018. Our first date was to Liverpool Christmas market.
Tell us about the proposal, where was it and how did you feel? David, did you feel nervous at all? And Lauren, was it a total surprise? Or did you have a feeling that David was about to propose?

David proposed at Taylor Swift’s concert at Anfield. Not during Love Story though like everyone else seems to do, he picked Enchanted as it was playing when our daughter was born last year. I didn’t know he was going to propose, I never thought David ever would propose so it was a shock. When the song was on I did notice the people behind us were recording me so I did get a bit of an idea then.
David - I was really nervous. I knew it would be a guaranteed yes but was still nervous to do it in front of thousands of people! Lauren has quite unique taste and I didn’t want to choose something she really didn’t like. She’d been making friendship bracelets for the concert so I made a ring sized one to propose. I was worried she would be disappointed not having a real ring but she loved the idea and then getting to pick her own too!
Lauren, tell us about your ring! I know that you chose your own ring, so how did you choose? Is it the ring that you have always dreamed of?
I love my ring, I feel like I will never get tired of looking at it! I’d never really thought about an engagement ring or what style I wanted so I came into the store with no idea and just tried different shapes / styles on. Charlie was so helpful and let me take my time with choosing. When I seen the one I’ve chosen it was a bit more unique than some of the others and I loved that about it, it just felt more me.
