For smaller purchases between £100 and £499, Klarna’s Pay in 3 lets you split the cost into three manageable payments. For larger purchases between £500 and £5,000, you can choose from longer-term financing options of 6, 12, 24, or 36 months.

With Klarna, you only pay for what you order no hidden fees, no extra costs just simple, stress-free payments.

1. Who can use Pay in 3?

You must be a UK resident, over 18 years old and have a valid payment card to use Pay in 3. When we say ‘valid payment card’, we mean the card must be in your name, and must not have expired. You should also make sure the card you use has enough money available to cover all the instalments. 

Pay in 3 is a credit product. It’s our decision whether or not we start a credit agreement with you.

2. How do I Pay in 3 instalments?

With Pay in 3, you can pay for something you buy by dividing the cost into three equal instalments. At checkout, you’ll see an option to ‘Pay in 3 interest-free instalments’. When you choose this option, just enter your card details to complete your purchase. 

There won’t be any interest, fees or charges for using a debit or credit card by Klarna. Although your bank might charge you interest or other fees on top if you pay using an interest-bearing credit card, for example.

What is Financing and how does it work?

Financing allows you to pay for your purchase in several fixed monthly payments for up to 36 months.

Good to Know:

    A credit check will be performed when you apply for our Finance. Late or missing repayments may be subject to late fees.

How do I use Financing?

When you shop online, Klarna’s system reviews each order to determine which payment options are available to you. Simply select the Pay with finance option. The first time you shop with Financing you will be asked to apply for a Klarna Account. If you’re approved Klarna will create an account for you and your order will be placed. Every time you shop with Financing after that, you only need to agree to the purchase and won’t need to sign up again. The order amount will be added to your Klarna Account as additional promotional plans. You can always monitor the payments due in the Klarna app.

I have been asked to go to the Klarna site. Is this correct?

If you have chosen to pay with Financing by Klarna, Klarna will send you an email with further details on how to pay.

Am I eligible to apply?

In order to apply for Interest-Free Credit, you must:-

• Be over the age of 18
• Yourself or your partner must be in permanent paid employment (over 16 hours per week), retired (receiving a pension), in receipt of a disability benefit or self-employed.
• A resident in the UK for at least 3 years
• Have a debit or credit card in your name and registered to your address (you'll need this to match the address used to complete the identity verification).
• Have a Bank or Building Society current account available (you'll need this to complete the direct debit instruction)

HOW MUCH DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED?

We will require a minimum deposit of 10% of the overall cost of your item in order to apply Interest-Free Credit.

HOW MANY MONTHS DO YOU ALLOW?

We offer repayment periods of 6, 12, 24 and 36 months when applying for Interest-Free Credit. 

HOW MUCH DO I HAVE TO SPEND?

We offer Interest-Free Credit on any items of a value of £500.00 or higher.

CAN I USE CREDIT ON ITEMS IN YOUR SALE?

Sorry, items in our "SALE" cannot be purchased under a finance/credit agreement. If you place an order for a sale item and select finance as your payment option, we retain the right to cancel this order.

CAN I HAVE CREDIT ON MULTIPLE ITEMS?

As long as the total value of the items equate to £500.00 or more, we're perfectly happy for you to purchase more than one item on Interest-Free Credit.

CAN I USE DISCOUNTS?

We cannot offer any discount when applying for Interest Free Credit. This includes existing loyalty schemes.

IF I'M DECLINED, COULD YOU TELL ME WHY?

As the final decision for Interest-Free Credit rests with our finance provider Klarna, we would be unable to offer a specific reason for decline. However, common reasons for decline often consist of the following:-

• An insufficient credit score
• You are under the age of 18 
• You may currently have an adverse account with other lenders
• We have been unable to confirm your identity
• Your existing commitments may be too great
