Congratulations Sam & Caitlin! We are so happy that you chose us to find your dream ring

Starting all the way the beginning... when did you both meet?

Sam and I have been together almost 6 years so it was definitely time, getting engaged and coming to Wongs Jewellers was something that was top priority for us as soon as we possibly could, a Wong's ring is the dream!

Tell us about your ring!

When Sam and I both decided on my ring, it was clear which one was the winner for us and literally hasn't come of my hand ever since! So both of us being there at the consultation (very spontaneously) to pick out my dream ring and getting such a personal experience was truly once in a life time and so fun. We wouldn’t have known where to begin without the help of Tracey and we’re so grateful for the experience that we had.

How did you feel coming into Wongs for the aftercare of your gorgeous ring?

I feel so lucky to have had this experience, and would highly recommend Wongs to everybody, getting such a personalised experience suited us so well as I can be super fussy with clothing and jewellery that Sam said he has put off picking an engagement ring purely based on the fact that there is just so much choice! When we got home with all of our goodies, bridal box and the loveliest ring box ever, we had a cuppa tea and some cookies, Sam got down on one knee and said the loveliest things, proposed and of course I said yes! Surrounded by our doggies and in our own home bubble, it was an absolutely perfect, whirlwind of a day but we wouldn’t have changed it for the world! As this all happened on Thursday the rest of the weekend was spent surrounded by our amazing, supportive and lovely families, and we’re looking forward to after the IVF Journey in around October time for a big celebration with all of our friends and family!

 

Have you started any wedding planning? Or are you staying on Cloud 9 for a moment?

 We’re absolutely staying on cloud 9 for as long as possible, before the wedding (which will be huge festival party vibes with all of our friends, family and dogs) as we’re currently saving for a new home whilst paying off our IVF treatment and journey. We actually booked an Engagement ring consultation appointment for straight after our IVF medication appointment, Tracey and Zara was absolutely amazing with us and Tracey really took the time to show us through all the options, with plenty of coffee! We then had a tour around the workshop and got to meet Mr Wong, the workshop team and Ben who adjusted the size of my ring to fit me absolutely perfectly! 

Sam & Caitlin have such a lovely story! They both run their families businesses so they mentioned it was extremely important to them to choose another local family business when purchasing an engagement ring for Caitlin.

Caitlin says 'I knew I wanted to choose a jewellers with such a personalised experience from getting my ring, to getting it sized in the workshop within the hour by Ben, and getting a polaroid took of us both in the gorgeous shop, it was honestly such an amazing experience! So thank you Wongs Jewellery & all of the team!'
