A wonderful Wedding Day for Grace and Pete!

Let’s take it back to the beginning, how and when did you meet?
We met at work during 2016 however, it wasn’t until February the following year that we thought we would be anything more than colleagues - we even swiped left on each other! However, Cupid had other plans… We had been sent away on a work trip and after what some may say was too many customer entertainment drinks we ended up outside Grace’s hotel room talking for the next five hours. The rest is history…
What a funny story! What about your engagement, tell us all about that?
It was all go! Pete actually proposed on my birthday in 2021, whilst we were moving house. Pete insisted I needed to sign some house paperwork which was in one of the many boxes. After some deliberation as to why Pete couldn’t find the papers I paused my birthday celebrations and went looking. When removing one I of Pete’s jackets I revealed a ring box! In disbelief and confusion I turned around to when Pete nodded, picked me up and asked “Will you marry me?”! Of course I said YES!
We must admit your wedding photos look like something straight out of Pinterest! There must be hundreds but what were the highlights of your day?
We couldn’t pick out a single moment but some big moments that stood out for us include the moment the doors opened and we saw each other for the first time, the moment they pronounced us husband and wife, our ring barer dog and THE CONFETTI!
Would you recommend any suppliers we can share with our brides to be?
The top four that stood out to us were @flowerstylebylaurieformby our florist, @urbanphotolab our photographers, @biancazarabridal the MUA and @stringinfusion our fabulous band!
What advice would you share with our newly engaged couples?
Enjoy it! It goes by so fast. “There is no enjoying the possession of something valuable unless one has someone to share it with”.
And lastly, how did you find the process of selecting your wedding rings with us?
Pete actually proposed with an eternity band so we chose Wongs to design my engagement ring - Wongs were amazing! You matched the shoulders of my engagement ring to my eternity band (which I now use as my wedding ring) and guided us through the whole process. Wongs went above and beyond for us from hand picking matching diamonds to actually driving the engagement ring to our home in London when it was finished. Thank you!
