A Dubai Engagement!

Firstly, we must ask how did you and Liam meet? When did your love story begin?
Liam and I were introduced by mutual friends at a charity fundraiser in Liverpool in November 2019. We bonded over our love of cheese and wine!
Ooo sounds lovely! Now, was the engagement a complete surprise, or did you have a little suspicion? Tell us how Liam proposed…
We had been planning a holiday to Dubai for over a year but, unfortunately Covid got in the way on more than one occasion. We finally got there in July 2022 and had the most amazing time. I was completely shocked when Liam got down on one knee in our hotel room after a gorgeous meal at the Marina. I was just as surprised he managed to travel that far with the ring in his hand luggage and hadn't given any clues.
Liam chose a princess cut engagement ring complete with diamond set shoulders - an excellent choice if we do say so ourselves!
Tell us about your ring, did Liam choose well?
The ring is absolutely perfect. I love the style he has chosen and the diamonds on the band are a real showstopper. We both have great taste ha!
We're really excited to get planning our big day and have already started looking at venues. We may even try to pass through Dubai again on our honeymoon (fingers crossed!).
