Ear piercing is available for individuals of all ages, including newborns (see Ts&Cs). If you're under 18, you will need a parent or legal guardian to accompany you and provide consent for the piercing.

If you are 18 or older, remember to bring photo ID, such as a driver's license or passport.

Wongs allows up to two piercings on each ear per appointment, totaling four piercings (whether on the cartilage or lobe).

We use Safety Back™ earrings, which are sterile, pre-sealed, and hypoallergenic. You can choose from gold, titanium, silver, and diamond studs, available in a variety of finishes, sizes, and prices. Once your piercing has healed you may have the opportunity to convert your piercing studs into traditional studs. This will be done here in our in-house workshop where you can also purchase replacement earring backs.

Your health and safety are our top priorities. Each customer's ear is cleaned and sanitised with a special solution, and our staff wear gloves for optimal hygiene. The Piercing System is completely sterile, with studs housed in individual cartridges inserted into a hand-pressured device. Our studio is thoroughly cleaned and sanitised between customers.

Ear piercings are generally the least painful type of body piercing, often feeling like a slight pinch. Our piercing earrings feature ultra-thin posts to minimise pain. If you experience discomfort, we recommend consulting your GP.

Before piercing, our in-store expert will explain the process and necessary forms. Your ear will be cleaned with a special solution, and the piercing area will be marked for your approval. We use an exclusive Piercing System, a hand-pressured device with individual cartridges. We only pierce the lobe and cartilage area. The actual piercing takes just a second, and then you’ll have your newly pierced ears.

Right to refuse piercing

We reserve the right to refuse ear piercings to any individual if we believe it may not be suitable for their health, safety or well-being. This includes, but is not limited to, age, medical conditions or other factors that may affect the piercing process such as the individual being in distress and or being uncooperative during the piercing.

Aftercare Responsibility

By having an ear piercing with us, you acknowledge the importance of following our aftercare instructions. We cannot be held responsible for any complications, infections or other issues that arise from failure to follow the provided care guidelines. We advise that you book an appointment for your 6 week or 12 week aftercare check up.

We do insist on signing a piercing release and authorisation form at the time of piercing which provides you with our Ts & Cs as well as useful aftercare information.
